Here's why you need to teach this topic...

Lots of people ask what the difference is between Storytelling and Story Selling, so let's jump straight into what Story Selling is...

Traditional storytelling in business is about creating the connection between you (your brand, products or services) and the listener.  Storytelling can be used to convey important information, to entertain, or to influence. Take that to the next level and apply it to your sales process and you have "Story Selling", which has one, single, clear objective: to inspire your audience to act!

Story Selling is storytelling with that little extra pizazz and purpose that appeals to your target audience, is consistent with your brand, and includes a strong call-to-action.

  • Story Selling makes you stand out from the competition, because you’re talking to your audience in a real, authentic way that no one else can do or is capable of
  • Story Selling makes you BULLET-PROOF from your competition because your individual YOU-ness can never be duplicated, copied, or replicated
  • Story Selling has everyone in your audience paying attention to you (in a great way).

Story Selling is NOT sharing a random story and crossing your fingers that it will engage the audience and make sales. It has a strategic purpose, with stories that are designed to move your prospects through your sales process to become loyal, paying customers.

Let's take a look at your course Success Roadmap...

StorySelling SalesPageRoadmap

[Check out the Module Overviews below for more details on what you'll cover in the course.]

Our ready-to-go program is divided into separate modules so it can be quickly broken up to deliver sections over time – to avoid overwhelm and give time for implementation.

And everything is editable and rebrandable.

So you can go through it yourself if you want to power-up your story selling strategy,

AND, you can use the same materials to help your audience.

That's because when you purchase a license to our customizable (PLR) courses, you get the rights to:

  • Edit the content any way you want
  • Put your name and brand on, and
  • Repurpose it into whatever media you want

Then use your new course to…

  • Attract an avalanche of leads for your other products and services
  • Expand your reputation as an expert with online courses, webinars, workshops, videos, and more
  • Provide resources for your clients to help them get results (and win their lasting devotion)
  • Create a nice new income stream with a paid program (it can even run on autopilot)

You'll be helping your audience craft stories that will resonate with their target audience and urge them to buy.

And…. you'll be adding a major asset to your own business (a course!) that will take it to a whole new level too!

Here's what you'll be teaching...

There are 6 modules in the course, with separate lessons, and final action planning that ensures your students achieve success from your training.

And with the way the materials are structured, you can easily deliver your course as a self-study eBook, membership site resource, or online course. Remember, if you'd like to run the course as a presentation, webinar, or recorded video, you can also get slides and other Instructor Materials in the Blaze package for this course.

Here's a summary of each module's learning outcomes:

Introduction

You'll start out with an overview of the course and what your students will learn, so that everyone is excited to jump in and get going.

Module 1 – Story Selling Starts with a Goal and a Hook

To craft a persuasive, engaging story, you must always have a clearly defined goal. A story without a satisfying conclusion isn’t really a story at all.

In this first module, you'll help your students identify their product’s unique value proposition and target audience so they can create their sales story ‘hook’.

  • Lesson 1: Start with a Goal - In Lesson 1, you'll help your students identify their story selling goal so that their story has a clear focus and objective.
  • Lesson 2: Find the ‘Hook’ for Your Story - In Lesson 2, you'll show your students how to clarify their product or service’s unique value proposition, so that they can hook their audience's interest and make them want to read (or listen) more.

Module 2 – Outline the Elements of Your Core Story

Now it's time to create the core story, which will form the basis of all the stories for the different stages of the customer’s journey.

In Module 2, you’ll have your students delve into developing a core story they can build upon throughout their sales process, applying a proven formula and a consistent theme.

  • Lesson 1: What Makes a Good Story? - In Lesson 1, you'll help your students understand the elements that make up a core story and recognize that even complex stories have the same structure.
  • Lesson 2: Your Core Story - In Lesson 2, you'll show your students how to add in their 'why' to the story so they can forge a stronger connection with their customers.

Module 3 - Stories for Every Stage of Your Customer’s Journey

Once you have a core story, it's time to vary it for each stage of the customer journey. The main theme established in your core story will be the thread that ties all of your story selling together.

In Module 3, you’ll show your students how to map their customer journey so that they can incorporate stories into each stage, moving their customers from awareness, to consideration, to their decision to buy a specific product or service.

  • Lesson 1: Mapping Out Your Customer’s Journey - In Lesson 1, you'll show your students the 3 main stages all customers go through on their buying journey, so that they can analyze the beginning-to-end interaction their customer has with their brand as they decide to purchase from them.
  • Lesson 2: Variations on Your Core Story - Awareness - In Lesson 2, you'll share some popular sales story formats for the Awareness stage so that they can customize their own sales story to attract and draw in their target audience.
  • Lesson 3: Variations on Your Core Story - Consideration - In Lesson 3, you'll walk your students through some popular sales story formats for the Consideration stage so that they can customize their own sales story to provide more information and move their prospects closer to purchase.
  • Lesson 4: Variations on Your Core Story - Decision - In Lesson 4, you'll discuss some popular sales story formats for the Decision stage so that students can customize their own sales story to provide reassurance from other satisfied customers.

Module 4 - Where and How to Tell Stories at Each Stage of the Customer Journey

You have a variety of stories for each stage of the sales process, but now what do you do with them?

In Module 4, you'll walk your students through choosing where and how to tell their stories, using popular storytelling strategies to connect with their audience and motivate them to take action.

  • Lesson 1: Stories for Customer Awareness - In Lesson 1, you'll help your students pick the best places for their Awareness sale story and how to modify it for each channel.
  • Lesson 2: Stories for Customer Consideration - In Lesson 2, you'll show your students how pick the best places for their Consideration sale story and how to modify it to suit different formats.
  • Lesson 3: Stories for Customer Decision to Buy- In Lesson 3, you'll show your students how to pick the best places for their Decision sale story and how to modify it to suit different formats.

Module 5 - Create Your Story Selling Plan

So many stories and options, so little time. But with a story selling plan, you can determine which sales stories to execute and when.

In Module 5, you’ll discuss how your students can create an actionable story selling plan and measure the effectiveness of the plan over time so that they can meet their story selling goals.

Module 6 - Review and Refine

In this final module, you’ll share some additional tips that will help your students continue to see the best results from their story selling strategy.

You’ll also review the course and have your students plan their next action steps, so they can achieve the goals they set for this course.

And here's all the content you'll get!

FAQS About Story Selling

Is Story Selling right for my audience?

The chances are your audience is already unconsciously using some form of story selling. Because of this, they'll want to make sure they're doing it in the most effective way and in alignment with their business. This program will ensure your audience members connect all the dots and are able to storysell in a meaningful way!

What's the difference between Storytelling and Story Selling?

Storytelling is something everyone in a business does, from the CEO Coach, to your assistant. In storytelling, you may just be making a point, explaining a concept, or looking to connect with your audience.

Story Selling has a very specific purpose - to move your reader or listener through your sales process. The story's goal is to get the reader or listener to take action.

Isn't This Just Stories With a Call to Action

Stories with a call to action that captivate and convert are story sales rather than story tales... However, if it was just slapping a CTA on a story there wouldn't be a strong need for story selling. As you can see, you need the right stories for each stage of the customer journey, and that's where storytelling stops and story selling takes over. You're taking your stories to the next level to grow your sales.

Does this course only apply to story selling for business?

You can adapt the content for anything you want. However, we've created this program with a business audience in mind.

FAQS About White Label Content

What does my license allow me to do with my Content Sparks content?

Your license gives you the rights to edit or cut up the content into sections, combine it with other content, or transform it to other media formats (such as audio, video, graphics, etc).

You can then share or sell the content with paid customers or prospects who have given you contact details.

The exception is the content meant for promotion, such as tweets, blog posts, and graphics. You can publish those freely anywhere on the web to drive traffic to your site and offers.

What am I NOT allowed to do with my Content Sparks content?

You are not allowed to sell or give away a license  or the editable files to anyone else. That means you can NOT sell or share the Private Label Rights (PLR), Resell Rights, or Master Resell Rights to anyone.

Also, you are not allowed to publish the content freely on the web where anyone can read or download it, including free membership sites or forums. The exception is promotional materials, as mentioned above. This protects the value of your content.

Do I have to rewrite the content?

You have the option to rewrite it if you choose, but it is not necessary. However, we recommend that you rewrite and add to any web-based content that you want found by search engines (like Google), so that it will rank higher in search engines. Adding value to existing content is also important, such as additional images, examples, stories, or lists of resources. By adding your own personal examples and experience, you'll boost your reputation and credibility exponentially.

What should I charge for the content once I've made it into a product?

Pricing your content is always a challenge and it depends on your own market. Some people charge $97 for a webinar series. Others add it to a $27/month paid membership program each month. And some have charged as much as $1997 for a full training program with coaching added.

Take a look at what competitors and similar businesses are charging in your industry. Then find your own middle ground based on how you want to position yourself.

We recommend that you never charge less than $27, depending on the length of the program, and charge more if you're adding live or video elements. Charge even more if you're adding coaching.

Thanks to Content Sparks, I’ve been able to start a membership site. I always wanted to do it, but never had the time. I’m charging $27 and $97 per month and am using Content Sparks products to drip new content each month. With 50 members at the $27/month right now, that's an additional $1,350/month right there, all from a $149 investment.
