“I don't know where to start!”
That's something I hear often when people look at all the content they need to put together for an online course.

There are so many moving parts and it seems overwhelming if you're just getting started.
And ESPECIALLY if you're hoping to make some money from your course.
So I decided to put together a checklist that summarizes the key tasks you need to do from set up to delivery and beyond.
You can download it right here:
The 8 key steps in the checklist are:
1. Decide on Delivery Platform
2. Outline Your Course
3. Create Your Course Materials
4. Prepare Materials for Publishing
5. Publish Your Content
6. Set Up Your Sales Funnel
7. Drive Traffic to Your Funnel
8. Deliver Your Course & Get Feedback
If you're not sure which resources to use to get your course and funnel set up, here are the ones we use and love:
Teachable – online course platform (we LOVE this one)
Demio – webinar service
PowerPoint – for slides and videos using slides
Camtasia and Snagit – screen capture, recording and video editing (free trial)
Audacity – free audio recording software
Amazon s3 – for secure storage of files
Screencast.com – for hosting and playing videos (or use YouTube)
ActiveCampaign – my awesome email marketing and autoresponder service
LeadPages – for all sales funnel pages
Thrive Leads – for Opt-in forms (I also use the Leadboxes feature on LeadPages a LOT)
Content Sparks – Blaze Products (full customizable course product funnels)
So go ahead and download the checklist. I'm hoping it will make life a little easier for you as you set up your course and build a profitable business online.
