Want to Help Your Clients Grow Their Business Network?
With Essential Business Networking Skills, you’ll get everything you need to create your own webinar, workshop, lead magnet, or paid product that helps people develop the interpersonal skills and confidence to build valuable professional relationships.
Here's why you need to teach this topic...
There's a saying that "your network is your net worth". It's true!
If you have a professional network of contacts, you'll find it easier to change careers, find a mentor, overcome challenges, and achieve your goals. Your professional network also allows you to gain insights into your industry (or niche) that you never thought possible.
Now imagine that you are the go-to person in your students' network when it comes to building a professional network. They hear about someone needing business networking skills, so they introduce you.
That's your professional network in action.
But building a professional network takes confidence, because it's a lifelong skill that never stops giving. Valuable, professional relationships are required starting at age 18, when you're venturing out into the world. And the necessity of networking skills doesn't end until you're leaving this world.
You will always lead a better and more fulfilled life when you have a robust, nurtured professional network.
Here's your students' Success Roadmap for 'Essential Business Networking Skills'...
[Check out the Module Overviews below for more details on what you'll cover in the course.]
Our ready-to-go program is divided into separate modules so it can be quickly broken up to deliver sections over time – to avoid overwhelm and give time for implementation.
And everything is editable and rebrandable.
So you can go through it yourself if you want to power-up your own networking skills,
AND, you can use the same materials to help your audience.
That's because when you purchase a license to our customizable (PLR) courses, you get the rights to:
- Edit the content any way you want
- Put your name and brand on, and
- Repurpose it into whatever media you want
Then use your new course to…
- Attract a flood of leads for your other products and services
- Expand your reputation as an expert with online courses, webinars, workshops, videos, and more
- Provide resources for your clients to help them get results (and win their lasting devotion)
- Create a nice new income stream with a paid program (it can even run on autopilot)
You'll be helping your audience improve their networking skills and build a business network that they can leverage.
And…. you'll be adding a major asset to your own business (a course!) that will take it to a whole new level too!
Here's what you'll be teaching...
There are 4 modules in the course, with individual lessons, an introduction, and concluding action plan. The course can easily be delivered as a self-study eBook, membership site resource, online course, live workshop, or any other way you want.
Here's a summary of each module's learning outcomes:
Introduction
You'll start out with an overview of the course and what your students will learn, so that everyone is excited to jump in and get going.
Module 1 - How Professional Networking Can Help You
We network every day, informally and quite naturally, through simple conversation and relationship-building. However, there are ways to increase networking opportunities to benefit your business and its growth.
In this first module, you'll help your students discover why professional networking is critical to business success and how self-knowledge can improve their networking ability.
Module 2 - Develop Your Professional Networking Skills
Now that your students have set targets, they'll want to start tackling them. But before they reach out to people, they need to work on their communication skills and their mindset.
In Module 2, you’ll have your students delve into their strengths and develop their key networking skills. They’ll also learn ways they can become more confident so that networking events will no longer be a source of stress.
Module 3 - Plan and Follow-Up for Networking Success
Your students are prepared, confident, and ready to go. Now it's time to create a plan so they get the most out of networking and the connections they make.
In Module 3, you’ll teach your students key ways to initiate one-on-one meetings, join networking groups, or even run their own networking meetings. And, of course, they need to follow up with people afterwards.
Module 4 - Next Steps
In this final module, you’ll share some tips that will help your students continue to see the best results from their business networking plan.
You’ll also review the course and have your students plan their next action steps, so they can achieve the goals they set for this course.
And here's all the content you'll get!

The following are the learning objectives your students will achieve when you teach the course on Essential Business Networking Skills as shown in the Course Book.
By the time you complete the course, you will be able to:
- Recognize the benefits of professional networking and establish targets and metrics that will motivate you to achieve networking success.
- Develop self-awareness around your networking attitudes and strengths, using these insights to improve your networking skills.
- Employ key interpersonal skills for effective networking that will foster engaging conversations that can lead to long-term, reciprocal relationships.
- Build your confidence levels so that you can introduce yourself in a way that sparks curiosity.
- Plan one-on-one networking meetings so that you both gain value from the interaction and start to build a relationship.
- Choose networking groups that will help cultivate mutually beneficial and productive relationships.
- Set up and run your own networking group to maximize your visibility and build your brand through networking.
- Put in place an effective follow-up strategy so that you get the best return on your investment in networking.
If your audience has an existing, active professional network and has no desire to grow it further, then they're unlikely to be interested in this. However, the truth is that most people don't feel comfortable networking and don't think they have the skills to do it well.
But once you show them that business networking skills can be learned, and that they can transform their life, they'll be eager to join your course.
Great question. Firstly, our Power Networking for Results course is a larger, Blaze package that comes with a full funnel of content. Essential Business Networking Skills is a Beacon level, so it's smaller.
Beyond that, both courses have completely different content and a different focus. Networking Skills focuses on developing the interpersonal skills (like asking questions) AND the confidence needed to build relationships in different settings. That includes planning, preparing, and running both one-on-one and group networking meetings. It also covers the option of running your own group networking events.
On the other hand, Power Networking cover certain areas more in-depth - such as examining the skills you can offer other people, where you could tap other people's skills, and how to craft different stories about yourself and different conversations you might have. It approaches networking from the angle of identifying a very specific goal for your networking and targeting those individuals who you can help AND who can help you.
Since both courses are consistent in the concepts they teach, they are a great complement to each other. So we suggest you deliver them separately, at different times. Let people implement one and get comfortable with those networking skills before delivering the other.
And if you have a choice, we recommend you deliver Essential Business Networking Skills first!
Yes... absolutely!
You can work through the course yourself and be your own case study to share with your audience. You can document your steps, and share your feelings about each stage in your journey. When you've done it yourself you will find it easier to teach. Another way to teach Essential Business Networking Skills if you don't have much experience in the area is to teach a beta cohort. This group of people understand they're working with you to test the program and will share their progress with you.
Here at Content Sparks, we've given you everything you need to run your courses online virtually. However, you'll find the content is easy to adapt to an in-person training with some simple replacement of the virtual logistics, group coaching, or live seminar. Just have students do the action steps as small group and partner activities and then reconvene to debrief and discuss their results.
Many of our clients do amazing in-person events with our course kits, and you will too!
All of this course would be overwhelming as a low-ticket offer. So why not take out Module 1 Lesson 2 (Know Yourself), or Module 2 Lesson 2 (Develop Your Confidence), and turn the lesson into a low-ticket offer instead? You can easily brand and record one of these sections in less than 45 minutes. You might even expand upon the lesson a little more and add in part of the course book to make it more impactful.
You can then simply take out the relevant section from the Action Guide and add it as a handout with your video recording and guide. Now you have a fabulous low-ticket offer!
The rest of the course can become your core offer.
Yes! You can add in some personal coaching sessions (we recommend 4) and sell this in the $997-$1497 range. You can expand it to include a mastermind and charge up to $3,000 per person.
To increase the value, add in a little content from Personal Branding, Dealing with Difficult People, and Negotiating Skills to create a really powerful high-ticket offer. (See our curriculum suggestions in the next FAQ too!)
You can also create a resource guide to professional networks in your area (outsource to a Virtual Assistant). A simple spreadsheet is incredibly helpful to your clients and it increases the value of your high ticket offer.
A little extra work turns Essential Business Networking Skills into a powerful high-ticket offer that gives a brilliant ROI and increased revenue for you.
Here at Content Sparks, we have fabulous professional development content that you can easily brand and turn into an amazing and highly profitable curriculum.
