We network every day, informally and quite naturally, through simple conversation and relationship-building. However, there are ways to increase networking opportunities to benefit your business and its growth.

In this first module, you'll help your students discover why professional networking is critical to business success and how self-knowledge can improve their networking ability.

Module 3 - Plan and Follow-Up for Networking Success

Your students are prepared, confident, and ready to go. Now it's time to create a plan so they get the most out of networking and the connections they make.

In Module 3, you’ll teach your students key ways to initiate one-on-one meetings, join networking groups, or even run their own networking meetings. And, of course, they need to follow up with people afterwards.

FAQS about Essential Business Networking Skills

Is Essential Business Networking Skills right for my audience?

If your audience has an existing, active professional network and has no desire to grow it further, then they're unlikely to be interested in this. However, the truth is that most people don't feel comfortable networking and don't think they have the skills to do it well.

But once you show them that Business Networking Skills can be learned, and that they can transform their life, they'll be eager to join your course. 

What's the difference between Essential Business Networking Skills and  Power Networking for Results?

Great question. Firstly, our Power Networking course is a larger, Blaze package that comes with a full funnel of content. Essential Business Networking Skills is a Beacon level, so it's smaller.

Beyond that, both courses have completely different content and a different focus. Networking Skills focuses on developing the interpersonal skills (like asking questions) AND the confidence needed to build relationships in different settings. That includes planning, preparing, and running both one-on-one and group networking meetings.  It also covers the option of running your own group networking events.

On the other hand, Power Networking cover certain areas more in-depth - such as examining the skills you can offer other people, where you could tap other people's skills, and how to craft different stories about yourself and different conversations you might have. It approaches networking from the angle of identifying a very specific goal for your networking and targeting those individuals who you can help AND who can help you. 

Since both courses are consistent in the concepts they teach, they are a great complement to each other. So we suggest you deliver them separately, at different times. Let people implement one and get comfortable with those networking skills before delivering the other. 

And if you have a choice, we recommend you deliver Essential Business Networking Skills first!

Does this course only work online or can it also be an in-person workshop?

Here at Content Sparks, we've given you everything you need to run your courses online virtually. However, you'll find the content is easy to adapt to an in-person training with some simple replacement of the virtual logistics, group coaching, or live seminar. Just have students do the action steps as small group and partner activities and then reconvene to debrief and discuss their results.

Can I teach this course if I've not taught these skills before?

Yes... absolutely. For thousands of years, people have known that the best way to understand a concept is to explain it to someone else. Seneca (old Roman philosopher) says as we teach, we learn....

You can work through the course yourself and be your own case study to share with your audience. You can also do a search for "professional networking case study" and contact the person the case study is about and interview them. Interviews are a powerful way to cover any potential gaps in your knowledge or experience. 

Can I create a Low-Ticket Offer with this?

All of this course would be overwhelming as a low-ticket offer. So why not take out Module 1 Lesson 2 (Know Yourself), or Module 2 Lesson 2 (Develop Your Confidence), and turn the lesson into a low-ticket offer instead? You can easily brand and record one of these sections in less than 45 minutes. You might even expand upon the lesson a little more and add in part of the course book to make it more impactful.

You can then simply take out the relevant section from the Action Guide and add it as a handout with your video recording and guide. Now you have a fabulous low-ticket offer!

 The rest of the course can become your core offer.

Can I create a High-Ticket Offer with this?

Yes! You can add in some personal coaching  sessions (we recommend 4) and sell this in the $997-$1497 range. You can expand it to include a mastermind and charge up to $3,000 per person.

To increase the value, add in a little content from Personal Branding, Dealing with Difficult People, and Negotiating Skills to create a really powerful high-ticket offer. (See our curriculum suggestions in the next FAQ too!)

FAQs about White Label Content

What does my license allow me to do with my Content Sparks content?

Your license gives you the rights to edit or cut up the content into sections, combine it with other content, or transform it to other media formats (such as audio, video, graphics, etc).

You can then share or sell the content with paid customers or prospects who have given you contact details.

The exception is the content meant for promotion, such as tweets, blog posts, and graphics. You can publish those freely anywhere on the web to drive traffic to your site and offers.

What am I NOT allowed to do with my Content Sparks content?

You are not allowed to sell or give away a license  or the editable files to anyone else. That means you can NOT sell or share the Private Label Rights (PLR), Resell Rights, or Master Resell Rights to anyone.

Also, you are not allowed to publish the content freely on the web where anyone can read or download it, including free membership sites or forums. The exception is promotional materials, as mentioned above. This protects the value of your content.

Do I have to rewrite the content?

You have the option to rewrite it if you choose, but it is not necessary. However, we recommend that you rewrite and add to any web-based content that you want found by search engines (like Google), so that it will rank higher in search engines. Adding value to existing content is also important, such as additional images, examples, stories, or lists of resources. By adding your own personal examples and experience, you'll boost your reputation and credibility exponentially.

What should I charge for the content once I've made it into a product?

Pricing your content is always a challenge and it depends on your own market. Some people charge $97 for a webinar series. Others add it to a $27/month paid membership program each month. And some have charged as much as $1997 for a full training program with coaching added.

Take a look at what competitors and similar businesses are charging in your industry. Then find your own middle ground based on how you want to position yourself.

We recommend that you never charge less than $27, depending on the length of the program, and charge more if you're adding live or video elements. Charge even more if you're adding coaching.
